Here is a fine example of a finished rifle done by one of my customers. He was competing with it at the BPCS Nationals at Whittington Center and brought it by to show me. He deserves a well done for this job.

Customer's Highwall seen at Raton BPCS Nationals

Owner, Fred Leeth III

These are actual stocks I produced. They can be carved in any wood you want.

Top stock in photo;
1st model Schuetzen, or Special Sporting. Uses the Helm schuetzen buttplate.

second from top;
Deluxe Sporting, designed for max. legal comb hieght for BPC Silhouette rules.
Measure it to be sure before finishing!
My checkered steel shotgun buttplate is perfect
for this stock.

Third down from the top;
A standard pistolgrip shotgun butt. Note the pistolgrip has a bit steeper curvature.  A decent
stock for all-around use.

These are the 3 patterns I cut for the straight grip highwalls.
The standard crescent rifle is a copy of the common factory pattern, and my crescent rifle buttplate is used on this.
The standard shotgun butt, middle in the picture, is likewise a copy of the factory pattern, it has no buttplate inlet, but my checkered steel buttplate works fine.
The Midrange shotgun butt at the bottom of the picture is a hybrid I made up for shooters desiring a higher comb than
the traditional shotgun shown above it.  The comb is more parallel with the bore line, making it ideal for Silhouette shooting.
These stocks are shown in standard walnut, and can be ordered in any grade of wood you desire.

Ebony inset in Highwall forearm

Here is a good example of a finished Highwall forearm showing the ebony inset, this particular job by Dan Edwards, Raton, NM.
I put the ebony inset on all my Highwall and Lowwall forearms.

Here is the classic Winchester shotgun buttplate. It would be difficult to pick a better plate for a highwall shotgun buttstock. Some of my Win. stock patterns offer a starter inlet for this plate. These sell for 30.00.  screws  included.

Browning Highwall by Dan Edwards

Here is another project finished by Dan Edwards, in special select Calif. Claro. You can't pack much more fiddleback in a blank than this one shows. Dan wanted a bit longer stock with a cheekrest, so this one I made up special.
