We pulled the forearm, and discovered the mark of the old master, Monte Kennedy, dated Sept. 1950.
The 78 Sharps Borshardt is a highly desireable piece, sadly many of them were butchered into varminters in the post war years. This one at least had an appreciative owner, and it wore its last 70 years quite nicely.
